Costume crinolines and panniers have ribbon hoop casings and ribbon waistbands with hook and bar closures. Calf length crinoline sewn from sheer fabrics has gimp braid trim. Below knee length cage crinoline has ribbon bows, gemstone embellishments and beaded swags. Panniers cut from sheer or lace fabrics have lace trim.
